After a date night with friends at Sakura, our new favorite Japanese restaurant, on Friday, we were up bright and early this morning to head to the farm for a work day. What did we do? We did a little of this and a little of that, and we enjoyed every minute. It was hot, and the gnats were irritating as usual, and I don't like to sweat, but I hung in there. As you can see from the slides, we accomplished a lot, and the day ended with a much needed rain.

Great pics! We should have traveled down to the farm to enjoy the day with you both! We had a relaxing day at the house with long naps for Mama and Brooks (much needed for both). See ya next weekend!
I don't know where I have been or what I have been thinking...but I have always used a hoe to get tough weeds out of my flower beds, but after reading your blog this morning, I used my little shovel to loosen up some tough grass in the beds and it came up so easily..thanks and I always enjoy reading !
